Exterior decorating -Shadoxhurst-Kent
This property in Shadoxhurst, Kent, was a project that we undertook in 2018.
Unfortunately the previous owners had not addressed many maintenance issues, and as a result, major repairs were needed to the weatherboarding, windows and doors.
We initially washed down, sanded and scraped of any loose paint, spot primed bare timber and located all areas that were rotten and needed joinery attention.
Once the extensive joinery repairs were completed, we returned to fully re-decorate this property.
We used Sandtex flexible eggshell in an ‘off’ white. This gives a much softer look, more in keeping with period properties rather than brilliant white gloss.
